Two Sointula Waterworks District Trustees to be elected.
(3 Year Term)
Qualifications for Trustees:
A person is qualified to be nominated, elected, and hold the position of Trustee if they meet the following criteria:

A Canadian Citizen

Eighteen years of age or older

An owner of land in the Improvement District, or the authorized agent of any board or corporation that is an owner of such land

Resident of the Province of British Columbia for the previous 6 months, or legal representative of any owner of such land who has died, become insolvent or insane, and is entitled to be registered as a voter under the Elections Act.
Nominations submitted in writing require a nominator and a seconder.
Voter eligibility is the same as listed above for Qualifications for Trustees.
Nominations can be submitted to: The Returning Officer, c/o Sointula Waterworks Improvement District at Box 1, Sointula, BC, V0N 3E0, or in person on Tuesdays from 10:00-2:00 at our office at 270-1st Street, Sointula.
Written nominations close and must be received by Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Nominations will also be accepted from the floor on April 28, 2024 at the Annual General Meeting.
