2025 Annual General Meeting

At the Athletic Hall in Sointula.
Agenda, approval of agenda, previous minutes read and approved, business from the minutes, reports, correspondence, new business, meeting adjourned, nominations, and voting.
One trustee position to be elected (Three year term)
Qualification for Trustees:
A person is qualified to be nominated, elected, and hold the position of Trustee if they meet the following criteria:

A Canadian Citizen

Eighteen years of age or older

An owner of land in the improvement District, or the authorized agent of any board or corporation that is an owner of such land. Authorization must be presented in writing and include the full ownership and property details.

Resident of the Province of British Columbia for the previous 6 months, or legal representative of any owner of such land who has died, become insolvent or insane, and is entitled to be registered as a voter under the Election Act.
Nomination submitted in writing require a nominator and a seconder.
Voter eligibility is the same as listed above for Qualifications for Trustee.
Nominations can be submitted to: The Returning Officer, c/o Sointula Waterworks District at Box 1 Sointula, BC V0N 3E0, or in person on Tuesdays from 10:00-2:00 pm at the office at the Old Medical Clinic, 270 1st Street, Sointula.
Written nominations close and must be received by C.O.B. Tuesday 27 May 2026.
Nomination will also be accepted from the floor on 31 May 2026 at the Annual General Meeting and eligibility requirements are the same as listed above for Qualifications for Trustee.
